The Arkansas Experience
|
My homewaters have produced the last two world record brown trout as well as the world record walleye and hybrid bass. The rivers of Arkansas for the most part have constant water temperature and are rich with aquatic insects, crustaceans, minnows, and bait fish, which allow for some of the best fishing in North America. Rivers fished include the Little Red, current home of the world record brown trout, the White, and the Norfork.
These rivers are famous for rainbows, browns, brookies and cutthroat. At certain times of year, we offer dry fly fishing , whereas nymphing and streamer fishing are extremely productive techniques year round.
Arkansas truly has the best winter fishery anywhere. Ask about the shad kill. Area lakes and streams provide very exciting action for stripers, hybrids, smallmouth, largemouth and walleye all on a fly. |
