The rivers of Arkansas for the most part have constant water temperature and are rich with aquatic insects, crustaceans, minnows, and bait fish, which allow for some of the best fishing in North America. Rivers fished include the Little Red, current home of the world record brown trout, the White, and the Norfork.
These rivers are famous for browns and rainbows. At certain times of year, we offer dry fly fishing , whereas nymphing and streamer fishing are extremely productive techniques year round. Jamie has worked for many years on pioneering advanced streamer techniques for producing very large carnivorous trout. Arkansas truly has the best winter fishery anywhere. Ask about the shad kill. Area lakes and streams provide very exciting action for stripers, hybrids, smallmouth, largemouth and walleye all on a fly.
